Ha ha! I'm BACK and I'm a free agent. No more exams and no more organising my life around study courses. I'll still have to organise my life around month end, but you can't have everything.
I have no idea how I've done in the exams. The Business Strategy paper will be borderline. There was a 20 mark calculation in the compulsory question that I didn't have a clue how to do. So I made it all up - if I was on the right lines then I might pass. If it was way off then that will be a definite fail. We were told there would be a template for the calculation in the question. There was nothing that could be classed as a template anywhere, which is why I had to make it all up.
Financial Strategy is a bit of a blur. This was my weakest paper anyway, so it depends on whether what I wrote was worth any marks. I can't tell if what I wrote was crap or brilliant. There wasn't much in the way of calculations either which make it even harder to judge,
Information Strategy I think was OK. There were no contentious issues with this paper so there isn't much else to say.
The Case Study was OK I think... It was not dissimilar to the mock exam I did at college. I think my tutor had an idea of what was in the paper as in our last class with him we did a load of things which weren't in the notes but I used in the exam. As he writes the textbook with the examiner, I can't believe that he didn't know anything about it (as he claimed) He was pushing us in the right direction for the exam and for that I am unbelievably grateful! This is the one I want to pass most out of all of them, as unlike the other papers, the information you need to learn changes every time. If I've failed the exam then I'll have to start again from scratch.
Not much else is new. I have been battling with earache all week (the illness of a 6 year old) It turns out I have an ear infection and so everyone has to shout at me so I can hear them.
