I haven't had time to post as I've been ridiculously busy at work recently. This is probably becuase I've been on a training course for 3 days, taken some annuaL leave and then will probably be out sick for the rest of the week as I am having a wisdom tooth out later today. I also go on holiday to New York in 3 weeks which won't help matters. However, this is the price that has to be paid for me being at my desk pretty much constantly for the first 9 months of the year!

I don't have much time to post at the minute as I came back to work yesterday and went straight into a training course. However, I will post a full update, including details of friend Tiffani Holiday's wedding, early next week.

The good news - it's my birthday!

The bad news - I'm at work with a long day ahead of me...

Another weekend gone in a puff of smoke. Things got off to a good start when I went out for dinner on Friday night with friends and colleagues Chloe Bounce, Busty Lustley and Pussy Might. We stopped in to see Baby Bounce on the way out who at 6 months old is cuter than ever. We went to the restaurant formerly known as the Yorkshire Grey, the pub of choice in my youth. It was really weird being there as it was the same inside structurally. A few key things were missing too - like the bar and jukebox!

I didn't do much on Saturday as I was preparing myself for the evening's drinking. Friends Bonnie Sin, Kinky Malibu, Jacqui Buttocks, Donna Cummings and Debbie Dicks gathered from far and wide to help me celebrate my birthday. It was fantastic to see everyone and catch up on all the news. However, it shows how time has moved on as 10 years ago we would've been talking about boys - who fancied who, who had snogged who. Now the main topic of conversation is babies - who from school has already got them, and which one of us will be the first to procreate.

On Sunday, friend Jennifer Jackme called round bearing presents and cards (my favourite kind of visitor) She moved to London a month ago and so we spent the afternoon getting me up to date with her new London life. As I couldn't be bothered to cook I invited myself round to my parents for Sunday dinner. However, I am getting worried about the amount I've eaten in the past few days. I pick up my bridesmaid dress on Wednesday and I'm getting more and more worried by the day that it isn't going to fit!

I finish work on Wednesday lunchtime so I feel like I am winding down already. This is a bad thing as I have a huge list of things I have to get done before then. Updating my blog isn't on that list so I'd better go and make a pretence at least of crossing some of the things off of the list.
