Things are a bit crap at the minute so I may not be my usual happy blogging self for a while. I don't want to go into details yet, but once I've got my head around everything that's going on I'll give details.

New York was so cool. I had the best time there and I feel that friend Bonnie Sin and I really maximised our time in the city. We did everything we wanted to and more. I did keep a diary of what we did when we were there but as that ran to more than 50 pages I do not intend to reproduce it here. I will summarise what we did and when (all spelling mistakes are deliberate)

Weekend was uneventful. I spent most of the time getting ready for my holiday (2 days and counting!) Friend Kinky Malibu came round on Friday night to watch the Stevenage firework display from my balcony. I don't do getting cold wet and muddy any more. I recommend watching fireworks from the comfort of my sofa. As usual there were fireworks going off all night which made it difficult for me to concentrate on what Kinky Malibu was saying as I kept being distracted.
Saturday, I went shopping for things I need for New York. It was also my Dad's birthday so we went out for a meal in the evening with my Grandad, Aunt and friend Jennifer Jackme's parents.
Sunday, I called round to see friends Chloe and Baby Bounce. I got all of my maternal urges out of the way for a while by giving Baby Bounce his lunch. After such an exhausting morning I fell asleep in the afternoon, but somehow found the energy to drag myself to the gym. I have been pretty good in regard to the gym recently. I worked out that I would miss 4 sessions whilst I was on holiday and so I have already made 2 back up. I have no intention of going to the gym in New York although I suspect friend Bonnie Sin's plans to make me walk everywhere and hire bikes in Central Park will be exercise enough.

After reading friend Pimp Daddy Rothschild's blog, I was reminded to make a posting to my own. I have been really busy recently and so blogging time has been short, or more to the point, non-existent. As a result I don't have time to do a catch up so will cover the salient point of the last month or so. My birthday was good - I didn't do much, mainly because I managed to get an ear infection which developed nicely in time for friend Tiffani Holiday's wedding. However, the day was so exciting and such good fun that I didn't feel the pain. I was exhausted by the end of the day and had lockjaw from smiling so much. I don't think I've ever been so photographed in my life!
I came back to work and went straight into a management training course. The course was good fun and did nothing for my ego as I found out that most of my management problems are the result of my contractor and I'm doing everything I can correctly! Everyone on the course told me that I should get rid of him, but I have finally started recruiting for the permanent position that will report into me. For such a short period of time, it's not worth the agony of getting someone else in. I'm hoping I can recruit someone to start in the new year and then I can be free of the incompetence of the current incumbent of the role.
Work has been manic as I'm carrying Customer Services as none of my higher management know anything about it. I'm not paid enough for this kind of responsibility. We just found out yesterday that our senior manger was leaving. He left at the end of the day so this has now prompted another restructure. We never even got the last one finalised. However, I'm hoping that the new structure may create some opportunities for me. Senior management are flooding out of here at the moment - it's quite worrying. They must know something we don't. However, I might hang on in here - I've worked 10 months of the year so I'll hang around until I get my bonus!
I had one of my wisdom teeth out in mid-October. That was not as traumatic as I was expecting and thankfully an awful lot less painful than many people predicted. I was recovered enough the weekend after the extraction to play host to friends Pimp Daddy Rothschild, Lydia Hott and Deedee Lustley when they came to visit me to belatedly celebrate my birthday.
Last weekend I wet up to London to visit friend Jennifer Jackme in her new Balham flat. It's the first time I've been to see her since she moved to London in September. As she may only be there for a year she is determined to make the most of living in London so we had a day of culture and commerce. We spent the morning in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the afternoon in Harrods.
Last night I was out with friends Bonnie Sin, Kinky Malibu and Mary Ellen Thong for the first of our monthly meals out. It was good to see the girlies and we had fun reminiscing about school and university, as well as discussing pretty much every other subject under the sun.
This time next week I will be preparing to fly out to New York with Bonnie Sin. We are finally getting organised for the trip. Today Bonnie Sin is booking us tickets to go and see the NY Knicks basketball team play at Madison Square Garden. I am so excited about the trip. Next Thursday just can't come fast enough!
Unfortunately, before then there are 4 and a half days of work to get through so I'd better go and address some of it!
Later Dudes...
