You will no doubt be pleased to hear that I got back to the South from Glasgow after a half hour Easyjet delay. I eventually made it back into work at about 1pm so yesterday was only a half day. Just as well really as I wasn't good for much as I was really tired.

I won the World Cup sweepstake which I was very excited by as in nearly 8 years of working I've never won any office sweepstake. I collected my £44 on Monday and am trying to decide what I am going to spend my ill gotten riches on! I'm also thinking about dropping Zinadene Zidane a thank you note, or as he is French maybe a merci note!

I'm at Galsgow airport waiting for a flight home after bonding with my operations director and his team yesterday and last night. As I had a bit of time to kill I thought I'd check my e mails on an internet pay terminal as I cannot access my home e mail at work. The connection is working fine - hence this posting, but for some reason my home e mail site is down which is very frustrating. I'm now paying to do stuff on the internet I couod do at home or from work!

I drew Italy in the World Cup sweepstake at work. I also convinced the organiser to split the cash between the 2 finalist teams, which showed fantastic foresight. Obviously if Italy win I'll loose out on £20, but I never win anything in these things so I'm very excited!
